Vote For Your Favorite Nigerian Album Of The Year
Nigerian Album Of The Year

As far as I’m concerned, the Nigeria Music Industry recorded landmark successes in the year 2016; talking about Nigerian artistes collaborating with International acts, Winning Big at The MAMAs, new hits upon hits, Amazing albums and lots more.

At this point, you don’t need me to tell you what the biggest albums of 2016 were – you know because you spent all year hyping them. From the saga of Kiss Daniel’s calendar-opening release of New Era Album,  Patoranking’s  “God Over Everything” which rolled out in August, to the release of “Olamide’s The Glory Album” were on everybody’s minds and Most of y’all playlists these last 12 months.

Of course, even in a year for the heavy-hitters, with legendaries; the likes of D’Banj, 2baba, iLLbliss, etc fading away, 2016 did make room for some newcomers, with the likes of Mr Eazi, DMW signees – Mayorkun and Dremo, to mention a few graduating to leading man status and Tekno, Reekado Banks, CDQ, Ycee, among others are becoming the new darling of the country music.

Needless to say, choosing between all of these is an unenviable task. While I ultimately opted for “DJ SPINAL TEN ALBUM”, Yesssss!!! Spinal’s Ten Album happened to be my Favorite in the year 2016, should in case you need to hear what The Ten Album sounds like, GO HERE!

Well, my opinion only counts to ME and ONLY ME, it’s time for you to do your pop duty and let us know what album reigned supreme for you – whether it be one of our top ten, or a choice entirely of your own.

Vote below for your favorite Nigerian album of 2016, a year in music that was so beautiful, everyone had to be aware of it.
